I'm a British B.Sc. Computer Science graduate with 1st-class honours and a core member of the Neovim team who has enjoyed programming since childhood.
I've always been fascinated by the ability programming has to turn ideas into something substantial; it's the closest thing we have to magic!

A Nintendo Game Boy Advance
emulator, written in Rust.
It is able to run most games (including DOOM!)
with video, audio and joypad support.
It also features a WebAssembly front-end, allowing you to run it in your browser!

The project won the 2018 best Computer Science project prize at the
University of Leicester.

A device developed alongside 2 University of Leicester students as part of
Thales Group’s 2-week-long Project
Arduino competition. It is designed to be a cost-effective portable tool
for aiding lost travellers.

Emulator for the Nintendo Entertainment System featuring video and joypad emulation. Supports most NROM & MMC1 games.

Interpreter for the CHIP-8 programming language with input, graphics & sound support. Also fully supports VIP 2-page hi-res programs and partially supports ETI-600 programs.

Procedural 2D terrain generation demo with basic lighting and particle physics. Also features client-server networking for downloading terrain and live chat.
April, August 2015
Implements bunny hopping and trimping physics with fall damage in UE4. Supports replication for use in multiplayer games and exposes variables for use in Blueprint scripts.
2013 - 2014
Client-server application for use on private networks that allows you to view the files and screen of a remote computer. Features real-time chat and requires password authentication upon connecting.
